Abbotshaw House dates back to the 15th Century. In the historic and attractive Liddesdale Valley, just south of Newcastleton originally also known as Copshaw Holm. This unspoilt area of the Scottish Borders is only 21 miles from the M6 motorway. It boasts truly spectacular scenery.
Liddesdale, heart of the ‘debatable lands’ was once a valley of Border Raiders and warfare – now it is a quiet land where birds, wild orchids and red squirrels flourish.
