With 6 Integral stables, tack room, on-site grazing, arena, stalls and enclosed yard, why not bring your horse too!
If it’s a Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering holiday you are looking for, Bailey mill has everything you want. All apartments are individually furnished and tastefully decorated to a high standard, central heating and electric fires are included in the cost of your stay.
All apartments include a colour TV, fridge, microwave and a conventional electric cooker and there is a communal laundry room. With a fully licensed bar, there is also the choice of food from our menu that can be served straight to your apartment. We can also provide you with internet access during your stay.
Pets (under control) are welcome and babysitting is available.
The complex was originally an 18th century Grain Mill which has been tastefully renovated, making it an ideal holiday location with excellent extensive facilities.

You can enjoy these by walking or mountain bike trails close by including the 7stanes MTB Newcastleton. The complex is situated in the Scottish borders near Newcastleton which is also known as Border Reiver country. Bailey Mill is a hidden treasure in South Scotland’s beautiful countryside which is just waiting to be discovered by you and your family.
We are situated close to Bewcastle where there are the remains of a castle which has the finest example of an Anglo-Saxon cross and Roman fort where 2,000 soldiers were once billeted
Children will enjoy the play area, millstream, and resident pets. For grown-ups, there is a communal games room, barbeque facilities, and new for 2018 – the Courtyard hot tub.
Visitors bringing their horses with them will enjoy the ability to livery their horse on site. Facilities include a wash down area, arena, 6 integral stables an enclosed yard and tack room. Off road riding is easily accessed from the yard.
